@ACMilan Manager, Ruben Amorim, has just moments ago spoken at a press conference in Perth about the feeling of the Milan travelling group in relation to the passing of club legend and Honorary Vice-President, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶.
"Michele, our Chef, is always showing pictures of Mr. Baresi and himself. He has told me many stories at every meal we've had since he passed away".
"I've talked with a lot of people about Franco. No one talks about the Champions Leagues or Scudetti that he won. Everyone says one thing... It's that when we went to Serie B he didn't leave us. And that is something special."
"People talk about his character... The way he treated people. And I think even though he's passed away... he's teaching us a lot of important things... That the most important thing is character. It's who you are, not what you achieve. That is something really important."
"Franco was all about the team, and I can promise that until my last day here, the team will be the most important thing about this club."
"The feeling that I have and that everyone has is sadness. A real sadness in our club. Our club is our people, and our people are in Milan. I didn't know Franco (only exchanged a few messages), but if you'd ask Franco today if we should leave our preparations and go to his funeral, I think I can guarantee that he would prefer that we continue our job, to defend the club, and we have our people and our fans with him, and that's the most important thing".
